Can i take seamoss if i am pregnant or breastfeeding?

In the short answer yes ☺️🤰🏽 however w e always advise that you make an informed decision yourself. There are countless pregnant mummies online and on YouTube with recipes to make your own milk that consist of Seamoss and Bladderwrack.

From the research we have done, we have found that Seamoss is great for both pregnant and breast-feeding women. It supports the healthy production of amniotic fluid and after birth the baby can still benefit from all the nutrients coming from the breast milk.

Seamoss is also a great source of iodine which is incredible for developing babies. Iodine deficiency during pregnancy may cause complications and because sea moss has iodine, the consumption of sea moss can be a great benefit to pregnant women.

Seamoss provides folate (Folic Acid) which is necessary for the growth of the baby but it will also provides Iodine, Iron, Magnesium, Potassium, Silica, Boron, Selenium, Chromium, Essential Fatty Acids, Vitamin D and water soluble fibres which are great for bone-building and tissue repairs. Basically the 92 minerals in Seamoss can help both you and your baby in many positive ways.

Can dogs take Seamoss?

Before incorporating anything new into your dogs diet you should consult a vet. When giving Seamoss to our four legged furry family friends its important to stick to the dry Seamoss as the gel can cause blockages in your dog's intestine. You can grind it up yourself, and sprinkle a small amount onto your dogs food. About 1/4 of a teaspoon of Seamoss powder is suitable for a medium sized dog once a day. This can help your doggy in everything from digestion to helping with dry skin conditions, however be careful with portions - a large amount of supplements can end up causing harm, dogs are much smaller than us.
